The Orientation Day is structured with programmed activities and allows students to begin familiarising themselves with our campus. They will meet College teaching staff and other incoming students from many different primary schools. In addition, incoming students and our Year 11 Mentor students will work together in small groups.

This part of the program is for students only, and your child can be collected from outside the Auditorium at 12.30 pm.

Dress: Casual clothes, sports shoes, hat and sunscreen.
Bring: Please bring a drink and snack to eat.

Parent Morning Tea and Information Session

8.30am – 10.00am

Held at the Terrace in front of Beedawong Cafeteria  and Auditorium

At Kennedy Baptist College, parents are an essential part of our vibrant community, and we would like to invite all parents of our 2023 Year 7 students to an informal morning tea provided by the College so that you can get to know other parents and members of the Kennedy Parents and Friends Association. Refreshments will be followed by an information session about our Year 7 Transition program in the Auditorium at 9.15 am.

About the Year 7, 2023 Parent Information Session

The session provides an opportunity to share information for a smooth transition to Kennedy.
You will find out from our team how to order lunch, tips on parenting, the SMART program, protective behaviour and the type of devices your child will need. Meet the Pastoral Care Team at Kennedy Baptist College and other parents, and this will include a question-and-answer session to address queries you may have.
