Our Year 7 Specialist Cricket students are showing some exceptional talent on the field. The match against Belridge Secondary College was a tough day, we lost early wickets and we managed to score 108 runs from 30 overs. The final score was Belridge 1 for 233 and Kennedy 10 for 108. The Match against Heathridge Park started off with the Belridge captain winning the toss and electing to bowl first. Alex and Isaac both got off to a great start by scoring 50 each and retiring shortly after. The Kennedy team had several small partnerships and ended the innings on a total of 180. The day ended with Kennedy winning by 17 runs. Well done to everyone for the first game of the Term 4 season.

Our Year 8 Specialist Cricket students played against Butler. Kennedy won the toss and elected to bowl first. Opening the bowling were Henry Speijers and Hunter Springer, we limited Butler to 160 runs with a star performance from Emma Carroll bowling six overs and taking four wickets and Hunter Springer bowling four overs and taking two wickets. We just fell short of the target, only scoring 140 runs with a great performance from Alfie Richards who scored 50 runs from 58 balls, and Adam Read who scored 45 runs from 96 balls.
