We encourage parents to get involved in our community by being part of the Parents and Friends Association, volunteering or attending functions or events organised by the College.
Parents and Friends Association
For more information, please visit the following page: Parents and Friends Association.
Volunteering
Parents are welcome to help in the Cafeteria, Library, Carnivals, Uniform Shop, and all major sporting events. If you are planning to volunteer, when arriving on campus all visitors must sign in at Reception. The co-ordination and administration of our volunteers is managed through an easy to use system: SignUp.com.
Events and Functions
Parents are often invited to special events such as Assemblies, Easter Services, Performing Arts performances, Awards services, concerts, Mothers Day or Fathers Day breakfast etc. Details are sent home prior to the event.
Fathering Project
This group is created by dads, for dads to engage, belong and learn together. This group will now help plan and host activities. We look forward to having this group grow and provide Dads with the support and tools they need to develop and raise great teenagers. Please look out for the Fathering project activities that will be coming up.
Kennedy Insights and Parenting Resources
Kennedy Insights is a series of seminars designed to help equip our families with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their children's safety and wellbeing.
Kennedy Prays on Wednesday
Kennedy Prays on Wednesday (KPOW) is a group of faithful members of our College community who meet together each week to pray for and support the College community. All College parents/grandparents/guardians are most welcome to join us in prayer on Wednesday during the school terms from 2.30pm. All prayer remains confidential and anonymous. For more information about the prayer group or to join, please contact our College Chaplain, Mr Peter Chase at pchase@kennedy.wa.edu.au.
