The 2026 Kennedy Interhouse Athletics Carnival brought together students from Years 7 to 12 for a memorable day of competition, participation and House pride!
Students represented Falcon, Harrier, Kestrel and Osprey across 132 events. Track and field disciplines, along with team games and demonstrating determination, resilience and a willingness to contribute, all added up to their House’s overall total. Students had the opportunity to participate in events such as javelin, shot put, discus, high jump, long jump, tug-of-war, frisbee golf and the much-anticipated relay races to finish off the carnival.
There were outstanding performances at every age level, but the success of the carnival was not measured only by first places and individual results. Every student who filled an event, completed a race or supported a teammate played an important part in the final outcome.
Outstanding Individual Performances
The carnival featured many exceptional performances, with several students demonstrating impressive versatility across several disciplines.

- Year 8: Issy Gerhard (Osprey) & Noah Choi (Harrier)
- Year 9: Zakari Hart (Osprey) & Dylan Armstrong (Kestrel)
- Year 10: Maddy Dunn (Osprey) & Henry Zhang (Osprey)
- Year 11: Serena Healy (Falcon) & Kade Constantine (Harrier)
- Year 12: Honey Sing (Osprey) & Jet Derecourt (Harrier)

House Competition
After a full day of competition, Osprey defended their 2025 title and was crowned the 2026 Interhouse Athletics Champion House with an impressive total of 1,739 points.
The final House standings were:
- Osprey: 1,739 points
- Falcon: 1,536 points
- Harrier: 1,478 points
- Kestrel: 1,401 points
Congratulations to Osprey, and well done to Falcon, Harrier and Kestrel for your energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed throughout the carnival.
A Memorable Day
Thank you to the staff, volunteers, and student leaders who ensured the smooth running of events, helping to create an enjoyable and memorable day for all involved.
We look forward to seeing our top athletes now move on to represent the College as they advance to the “C” Division Associated & Catholic Colleges of WA (ACC) Interschool Athletics Carnival on Tuesday 15 September, following last year’s success.
