In Week 9 of Term 3, the College proudly participated in the ACC Athletics āDā Division Carnival, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of our athletes.
Kennedy secured a commendable fourth place overall in this competitive division, where just 60 points separated the top schools. This result in such a fierce competition is testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes in preparing for this event. Our success came from different areas throughout the day, including students stepping up as reserves and competing well in multiple events.
A highlight of the day was the incredible performance of our girlsā teams, who emerged victorious in the overall Girls Aggregate. Their commitment to teamwork and individual excellence shone through in every event, whether in Juniors or Seniors. This success was reflected in the setting of personal bests and first places, as well as in overall individual results. Some individual highlights were Emma Kempson (Female U19 Champion) and Jessica Ryan (Female U15 Runner Up Champion). These girls kept up their energy throughout the day even as they moved from one event to the next and joined four other Kennedy students who finished in the Top 5 of their age groups.
A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, parents and supporters who helped prepare our athletes and cheered them on throughout the day. Your support plays a crucial role in fostering an environment where our students can thrive.
As we reflect on this fantastic event, we are filled with pride for our athletes and look forward to building on this success in future competitions. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
