Current Opportunity

We are seeking a Risk and Compliance professional who enjoys being actively involved in all facets of College life. In this role, you will take ownership of the implementation and ongoing management of our Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, WHS and policy frameworks, ensuring they are effective, current, and aligned with best practice.

As a trusted advisor to leaders and staff across the College, you will play a key role in promoting a positive and engaged risk‑aware culture. Your ability to build strong relationships, provide clear guidance, and influence at all levels will be essential to your success.

In addition to your professional capability, we are seeking someone who authentically reflects the College’s mission and values, and who can ensure these values are embedded in our policies, procedures, and daily practice.

This is a full‑time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term position for 2026 and is ideal for someone who is available to commence immediately.

As Head of Learning Area, you lean on your experience to ensure the standard of academic excellence by inspiring and leading your capable team across curriculum development, delivery and evaluation.

In this role, you will champion the curriculum agenda, leveraging individual passion and expertise of its members and altogether challenging the collective to deliver positive learning outcomes for a broad range of students. You thrive in an environment where you use your teaching expertise, experience in leading a large and diverse department and ability to work collaboratively across the College. We’re keen to hear about your background in the Arts, including experience with ATAR and General courses.

This is a leadership role in the College. It is expected that you lead by example the College values in all your interactions, balancing the relational and the delivery of strategic objectives are essential. Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal – Curriculum and Director of Studies. Your learning and development include active engagement in the Kennedy Leadership Excellence Programme.

This is a full-time ongoing role to commence as early as Term 3, 2026.
