Today, as part of our Protective Behaviours curriculum, our Year 7-9 students participated in a session in the Auditorium with Jade Lewis from Yellow Ribbon Second Chances. The session focused on respect, boundaries, bullying, and fostering a respectful culture within our school community.
Students were challenged to reflect on what they value in friendships and how to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Most importantly, they were reminded that they hold the key to being a positive influence and an element of change.
This important topic will be explored further in their Thrive sessions, where students can dive deeper into building respectful relationships and making positive choices.
Kennedy Insights – Parent Information Evening
We invite our parents to join us for our upcoming Kennedy Insights session on Thursday 13 March. Jade Lewis will present Enough is Enough, a session designed to equip parents with the knowledge to discuss consent, boundaries, harassment, sexting, and the law with their teens. This is a must-attend event to help build strong, respectful relationships at home and beyond.
