There are many reasons to dance, and our recent Dance Showcase just happened to add one more, with students raising funds for the ‘Kennedy Kids’ of Transform Cambodia. We are delighted to announce that $5000 was raised that will go on to improve the lives of these Cambodian children.
The crowd at our Showcase were also thrilled with great performances from everyone on stage. The professionalism of our students combined with their high energy, vibrant costumes and fantastic lighting contributed to a fun and entertaining evening. A cameo from some of our staff added to the atmosphere too, demonstrating that their talents go beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to our students for their efforts throughout the night and in the lead up to it. Particular credit goes to the Year 10, 11 and 12 Dance students who choreographed some of their performances. Thank you as well to Miss Simes, Mrs Mayne and Mrs Del Basso for creating these dances with our students and overseeing all the choreography, as well as creating a great event that will help transform lives in Cambodia. ‘Dance for a Reason’ indeed!
