In Week 9 of Term 3, Kennedy Baptist College proudly competed in the ACC Athletics ‘D’ Division Carnival, showcasing exceptional talent, resilience and teamwork across all year groups.
We are thrilled to announce an outstanding result where Kennedy was crowned Overall Champion, Junior Boys Champion, and Overall Male Champion. Our girls’ teams also delivered an impressive performance, finishing 4th overall in the female division (Junior Girls and Senior Girls), a result that secures us a promotion to the ‘C’ Division for 2026.
The carnival was filled with personal bests, inspiring efforts, and true team spirit. Many students stepped in as reserves, taking on extra events with grit and determination. Special congratulations go to:
Issy Gerhard – crowned Age Champion
Jessica Ryan – runner-up Age Champion
We also celebrate the achievements of five athletes who finished in the top five of their age groups:
Noah Choi (U13 Male) – 3rd place
Mwansa Chansongo (U14 Male) – 4th place
Heinrich Stander (U15 Male) – 5th place
Sienna Lilly (U19 Female) – 5th place
Jet Derecourt (U19 Male) – 5th place
