Upcoming building projects
Our upcoming building projects are part of our master plan, aimed at enhancing our facilities and enriching the learning experience for our students while fostering stronger engagement with our families. Here are the key timeline and build:
Auditorium, including its entrance and Foyer
The redevelopment of the Auditorium, as well as its entrance and foyer, began in Term 4 of 2022, and is set to conclude by the end of June 2023. This initiative aims to improve the whole experience and to provide students with a platform to showcase their talents, while also serving as a venue for community events and performances.
Additional Classrooms
The construction of additional classrooms above English Block 3- is planned for completion in the following year, Term 3, 2024. This will facilitate the removal of our modular buildings currently used for Senior School examinations and provide space for increased parking.
Additional Office Space
The construction of additional office space above the Health Centre – planned for 2025 will be designed to accommodate the growing needs of our dynamic educational community. With a focus on efficiency and functionality, these new offices will provide a conducive environment for administrative tasks, meetings, and collaborative work.
Redevelopment of the car park
Redevelopment of the car park with a targeted completion date set for the end of 2024. This redevelopment project aims to enhance our parking facilities’ overall functionality, safety, and convenience to benefit our students, staff, and visitors. In addition, the car park redevelopment seeks to address the evolving needs of our growing campus community.
Lecture Theatre
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing excellent educational resources and fostering a sense of community at Kennedy Baptist College, we look forward to this purpose-built facility to enhance our campus’s capacity to accommodate large gatherings and facilitate impactful educational experiences, and we anticipate its completion in 2026.
