What to do if your child tests positive for Covid-19:
- Isolate for 7 days
- Report absence on absent@kennedy.wa.edu.au with child’s name, date of positive test result and return to school date.
What to do if your child is a close contact:
Close contacts with no symptoms are not required to isolate for 7 days, but must:
- Undertake a daily Rapid Antigen Test in the morning (the College does not need to see results)
- If negative, attend College and wear a mask when leaving the house,
- Avoid high-risk settings, including hospitals, healthcare settings, disability and aged care facilities, and correctional facilities
- Avoid non-essential gatherings and contact with people at risk of severe illness
- Notify the College of their close contact status by texting the Kennedy Covid Hotline 0473186982
Kennedy Covid Hotline
As the College is not longer required to report positive student and staff cases through Independent School Association (AISWA), parents will use the Kennedy Covid Hotline for notification of close contact status only.
